so i’ve been hyping this trip up for some time now. I bet you’re on the edge of your seat trying to figure out where we’re going. Well. If you keep reading, then you just might find out.

the dates

Well. you know when we’re going already because we wanted to triple make sure that our trips weren’t planned for the same dates. So. In case you forgot, those dates are MARCH 12-15, 2020

The activities

ORIGINALLY, I had thought that I was slick and lines this up during the city’s restaurant week. Turns out all of the dates that I read were for last year. Must have been something with the language barrier. Oh, did I let something slip? That’s right. there might be a weeee bit of a language barrier where we’re going. So dust off the ol’ Rosetta Stone account. You might need it.

Anyway, the activities. I’m thinking we leave it open ended. But there are CASTLES, we can rent a boat and cruise the city’s vast river system, or maybe even pop over to Paris for a day?

All of this running around, will probably tire us out. BUT it’s a good thing that this city’s COFFEE FESTIVAL will be on while we’re there. They also have food there too so consider it an almost win on the restaurant week front. I know, please contain yourself because this all sounds so exciting. But we didn’t even get to the main reason we’re going. The thing that you don’t know exists…

I bet by now, you’re probably thinking… '“GOLLY FREAKING GEE! How are we going to get to all of this fun stuff!?” Well. This is where the world’s greatest souvenirs come into play. This city is known for three things. Pot. Prostitutes. and Pedals. And we’re going to use the third to get around. We’re buying bikes baby! a bike can be had anywhere from $50 to $100 on the local Facebook Marketplace. The logistics of getting them back are sure to be a bitch, but i’m determined to make it work.
